ABOUT THE GROUP

The Ascension DX Group was founded November 3,1996.  The groups main interest is DX, but it has put out islands for IOTA, US Islands and counties for county hunters.
 Callsign : AD5XG
The group has a yearly award  (worked most countries) contest runs from Jan.1 to Dec. 31.Member with most countries worked ( no dups ) SSB, CW, and MIXED Receve a plaque for 1st place for each mode.  A certificate is awarded for 2nd place for each mode .

A weekly DX net is called every Wednesday on the
Ascension Amateur Radio Clubs
dx repeater 146.985-Tone 107.2. Infomation on related dx, qsl routs, dx spots, managers and anything important to dxers are discussed here. Anyone interested in DXing or Amateur Radio in general are welcome to participate in the weekly DX nets.
