
1952 - Land for the St. Anne Church building was donated by Russell Tullier. Architectural plans for the mission were drawn by J. Roy Haase of Baton Rouge.
1953 - St. Anne building was accomplished on a "coup de main " basis under the direction of Father Augustus Wyshoff.
1954 - St.Anne was dedicated as a mission of Holy Rosary Parish under the pastorship of Father Wyshoff. Dedication ceremonies were performed by Archbishop Rummel.
1956 - Father Wyshoff was replaced as pastor by the Reverend A. J. LeBlanc who served St. Anne until 1962.
1962 - St. Anne was removed from the pastorship of Father LeBlanc and placed under care of Father Peter Crefasi of St. Anthony Parish of Darrow.
1963 - After much dialogue between the people and Bishop Tracy, St. Anne was made a parish with the Reverend Louis Persac as its first pastor. Father Persac was officially installed on Sunday, August 18, 1963. Under his pastorship a modern, brick rectory was built and dedicated in 1970.
1974 - Father Louis Persac was replaced by Reverend Lloyd Caballero.
1975 - A modern CCD building was erected and dedicated.
1977 - On March 24, St. Anne welcomed Reverend Jesse Ortego as its pastor.
1978 - In February, soon after receiving a fresh coat of paint, the church building was destroyed by fire. Soon plans for a new church building were made.
1979 - By October 21, the present brick structure was dedicated by Bishop Joseph Sullivan.
1981 - In July of '81, Father Ortego left St. Anne, and Father David Vavasseur landscaped the church grounds and expanded the CCD Program first begun by Father Ortego.
1984 - Father Vavasseur was replaced by Father Bernard Vogler. Father Vogler started the First Friday devotions and novena. Father Bernie served until June of 1987.
1987 - By August, Father Michael Galea was formally installed as pastor. Father Michael was responsible for initiating the project of a pictorial directory for St.Anne.
