Size: This is a unique basket in that it has a clam shell shape of our southern seafood country, colored in wine shades with golden nylon sinew. Finger opening for the latch on top and trimmed in gold glass beads. A lovely plait of pine needles at the center for a lovely touch and a black walnut slice at bottom. Needles, southern Long Leaf Pine trees, in lengeths 14" to 18" for strength. The final varnished. Clean with soft brush .  Size: 4 1/2"x9" lovely round shape and fits in seashore decor. Trim is of nature materials.

From the beginning of this beautiful city the drink of choice was tea. Not many people would think that tea was a favorite drink. Tea was imported by the shippers and also stored in the bags of imigrantes. It was a great pleasure for them and reminded them of their old home counties. My Italian grandparents were tea drinkers and taught me the same. But after some years and a generation the drink of choice turned to coffee. The beans pouring into the old city. I drink coffe but still crave that warmth from the old countries. TEA! This pine needle basdket is made to mimick the old country and the pleasures it brings.

The decor is white lace and metal attachment on the front bright silver, lacely metal  Awesome gift. Lid and bottom spout the same lacely rolled wrap with the same decor. Great look.
