General Historical Information and Articles by Mike Collier
(This section has nothing to do with triathlons except in the sense of triathletes becoming more intellectually diverse.)
My name is Mike Collier, and I live in Baton Rouge. I grew up in Southern Califorina, hence, the love for swimming.
This is my homepage at eatel.net. 1996 was my first year doing TRIs and I hope to continue for many years to come.
Update: Year 2000 -- Still doing TRIs! (Even after losing most of last season with knee surgery). I am learning better ways to train and race, and this year I have done my fastest times ever.
The famous "Collier Family
Reunion Triathlon" in New Roads, Louisiana.
I am married and have two little girls, nine and ten years old. I am 45. (The "Masters division.")
("Days until " is based on the Louisiana Triathlon, which should begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2001.)
Please email me and tell me how you liked this site, and send any useful info, events, links, anything that would make the Triathletes of Louisiana better at what they do. Thanks. Email: mikec@eatel.net
