Gone But
   Not Forgotten

The photos below are of some very wonderful and well loved cats that have left their paw prints on my heart!

CATS...  They grace us with their presence and their love and they're always in our hearts.

Kalamazoo

We called him Mazoo for short was originally my dad's cat.  He was very well loved and after Dad passed away either me or my son took care of him.  He lived a long and happy life!

NO, I do not want a bath!!!

Umm.... This is so good.

All cool cats go to Mardi Gras!

Mister Cat

He was a typical male cat and always in trouble or sleeping.  Once he broke into one of the neighbors house by tearing out the screen.  Of course there was a female cat inside!  Well, thankfully no kittens resulted from this!  LOL

No! I didn't drink that!!!

Napping is my favorite pastime.

Yep, I am nice and comfy!

Missy

She was a very sweet and gentle cat.  She enjoyed investigating things and that habit got her in  trouble from time to time.  But she always survived it.

Get Out??  But it's warm in here!

Boy it sure is a long way down!

Well you never know when it will rain.

Thaeddous

He was called Thad for short by the family that loved him so much.  This wonderful cat was a world traveler.  He has lived in Texas, Connecticut, Michigan and Hong Kong!  He passed over the rainbow bridge last year and is still very much missed by Carol, Phil and the rest of the family.  Wasn't he a beauty!

Goodbye

My little friend you've left me,
and with you went my heart.
A piece of my soul is missing,
the piece that was your part.

My sorrow seems unending.
I feel the touch of your paw.
The tickle of your whiskers,
the rumble of your purr.

I listen for your footfall.
I see your shadow still.
Peeking from the corner.
Curled up on the sill.

My heart is crying teardrops.
My eyes are crying too.
My dearest little kitty,
O God, how I miss you.

I'll miss you puss forever.
But I'll try to carry on.
Remembering love you taught me.
Until my time has come.

Then someday I'll come join you,
'neath God's most loving hand.
We'll cross the Bridge together,
And live in Heaven's land.
