  LOCATE A CHAPTER

Welcome to Chapter 244 of the Experimental Aircraft Association.  Our club hanger is at HZR, the New Roads Airport, but we serve the entire Baton Rouge and surrounding area by providing an active community for local aviation enthusiasts, airplane builders, and pilots.  We also reach out to the community by raising awareness of aviation. Our Young Eagles program brings together enthusiastic pilots and curious young kids in hopes that they will spark an early interest in aviation as a part time hobby or lucrative career.

We also have our "World Famous" fish fry the second Saturday of each month at our club hanger where you can see, feel, and smell real airplanes.

If you are interested in aviation you are welcome to please drop by for our monthly meetings. They are held at 6:30 pm the first Thursday of every month at Don's Seafood Restaurant on North Airline Hwy in Baton Rouge Louisiana.  You don't need to be a licensed pilot, own a plane, or be in the process of building a plane to join, but after hanging around us there is a strong possibility you may become engrossed in all three.  If you're interested in aviation, we're interested in you.
