Beauty Pageant Info
Since the very first Boucherie Festival we have featured an annual beauty pageant. Initially only for young women, in 1986 it was expanded to include all age groups down to infants, as well as a Ms. Boucherie queen for women with children. The pageant is held a few weeks before the Boucherie Festival itself, at the Sorrento Lions Club building. Boucherie queens not only participate in the Festival, but represent the Boucherie Festival at other events and functions as well, such as the Queen of Queens Pageant hosted by Louisiana Fairs and Festivals.
This year's pageant will be held Saturday, September 20th. There will be a pre-registration only on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Sorrento Lions Club.
Entry Fees:
You can earn free registration by selling Boucherie raffle tickets. See the Pageant Rules RTF document for details, as well as for more information in general. There is also a Pageant Layout image. Use "Fit to page" or the equivalent when printing this.
In order to print the form on a single page, use a half-inch or less top and bottom margins.
