H. 'Beth Crochet'
is a large
cream pink diploid. Blooms usually measure more than 6
inches wide on this beautiful daylily. It starts blooming
midseason and reblooms later. The plant comes from our
"huge" seedling bed. Scapes measure 24 inches tall and hold
12 buds. |

H. 'Alex Sheets' * SEv 22" Re 6" This fine tetraploid daylily is named for my grandson. It is a most distinctive daylily. Blooms are 6 inches and a shimmering polychrome of rose, orange, and pink that is difficult to capture in an image. Sepals are slightly lighter than the petals with a darker rose edge and heavy ruffling. A triangular rose band encircles a light gold throat. Plants are sturdy, grow well and average 26 buds. Awarded AHS Honorable Mention 2009. |

H. 'Flamingo Windmill' is a beautifully colored bi-tone unusual form daylily with cascading, narrow segments that curl under at their ends. The flamingo pink petals have a thin cream midrib while the sepals are of a lighter pink color. The eight-inch blooms open well, displaying a cream green throat. H. H. 'Richfield Rose Elegance' is a fine rose blended tetraploid. Blooms measure 6", are slightly recurved, have a darker halo, and are nicely ruffled. The flowers also have a thin wire gold edge. Plants carry 15 buds, grow well and rebloom reliably. Scapes are 23" high and plants are semi-evergreen. 'Richfield Rose Elegance' is a cross of Seminole Wind X Jim McKinney. H. 'Richfield Wonder' is a 5½-inch cream pink with a large grape eye that has tiny feathering around its perimeter. Blooms recurve and have a green throat plus "corduroy" texture. This dormant diploid has 16-inch scapes with five lateral branches and a bud count of twenty-five when established. H. 'Richfield Wonder' was selected from a group of seedlings which were produced from using a semi-evergreen and a dormant parent - the object being to try to get a good dormant seedling from the cross. We did! This beautiful daylily grows and blooms very well in many different climates and "comes back" strong even here on Gulf Coast. Bud count is 25 when established. Junior Citation 1998. H. Rose Windmill' is a fine addition to our spider collection and is featured on our 2008 print catalogue cover. It has been a beautiful tetraploid daylily as a seedling and is equally fine a registered cultivar. The 7.5" blooms are not crowded on the 30" arrow straight scapes. Blooms are a delicate medium rose color and have large chartreuse throats. Segments all recurve and display the flat blooms to fine advantage.
