22. David L.³ Barton (David², ¹) (#652) was born in Ga June 1829.

He married Melinda Jane George. (Melinda Jane George is #514.) Melinda was born in Ga February 8, 1827. Melinda died October 26, 1901 in Upshur Co, Tx, at 74 years of age. Her body was interred in Little Mound Cem, Upshur Co, Tx. !CENSUS FOR 1900 TX UPSHUR CO. David L. Barton and Melinda Jane George had the following children:
