30. Matthew R.³ Barton (Stephen², ¹) (#513) was born in Murray Co, Ga July 1, 1844. Matthew died February 26, 1916 in Muenster, Cooke Co, Tx, at 71 years of age.

He married Sarah E. Allred in Rusk Co, Tx, March 9, 1865. (Sarah E. Allred is #518.) Sarah was born in Tx 1847. !1870 CENSUS UPSHUR CO TX PAGE 50. 1880 CENSUS UPSHUR CO TX. PAGE 471B.

Matthew R. Barton and Sarah E. Allred had the following children:

171 i. Alfred⁴ Barton (#867) was born in Tx 1866.

172 ii. Henry Barton (#868) was born in Tx 1870.

173 iii. Glennia Barton (#869) was born in Tx 1872.

174 iv. Walter Barton (#870) was born in Tx 1874.

175 v. Armetta Barton (#871) was born in Tx 1877.

176 vi. Kurt Barton (#872) was born in Tx May 1880.
