234. William Riley⁵ Barton (William W.⁴, John S.³, Henry², ¹) (#358) was born in Galena, Stone Co, Mo November 24, 1872. William died September 30, 1951 in Fresno, Calif, at 78 years of age. His body was interred in Huron, Beadle Co, Sd.

He married Nancy Catherine Shahan in Oak Grove, Carroll Co, Ark, October 1, 1893. (Nancy Catherine Shahan is #359.) Nancy was born in Green Forest, Carroll Co, Ark November 23, 1874. Nancy died November 24, 1944 in Huron, Beadle Co, Sd, at 70 years of age.

William Riley Barton and Nancy Catherine Shahan had the following children:

406 i. Raymond Ertie⁶ Barton (#360) was born in Green Forest, Carroll Co, Ark June 3, 1894. Raymond died January 27, 1961 in Huron, Beadle Co, Sd, at 66 years of age. He married Charlotte Grant Miller in Cavour, Beadle Co, Sd, July 7, 1921. (Charlotte Grant Miller is #367.)

407 ii. Arlis Alfie Barton (#361) was born in Green Forest, Carroll Co, Ark August 11, 1896. Arlis died January 20, 1962 in Mission, Hidalgo Co, Tx, at 65 years of age. His body was interred in Huron, Beadle Co, Sd. He married Zula Mae Ward in Galena, Stone Co, Mo, March 1, 1917. (Zula Mae Ward is #368.)

409 iv. Thomas Jefferson Barton (#363) was born in Green Forest, Carroll Co, Ark August 3, 1901. Thomas died July 8, 1967 in Sanger, Calif, at 65 years of age. He married Myrtle L. Vardegem. (Myrtle L. Vardegem is #370.)
