242. Joseph Keller⁵ Barton (George Washington⁴, John S.³, Henry², ¹) (#254) was born in Elk Falls, Elk Co, Kan October 5, 1884. Joseph died January 31, 1956 in Vernonia, Oregon, at 71 years of age. His body was interred in Vernonia Cem.

He married twice. He married Hattie Longnecker in Fredonia, Kan, March 10, 1906. (Hattie Longnecker is #992.) Hattie was born in Altoona, Kan 1888. Hattie died ABT. 1985 in Lamour, Mo. He married Carolyn Geneva Kunkel in Chinook, Montana, November 17, 1917. (Carolyn Geneva Kunkel is #257.) Carolyn was born in Altoona, Kan May 28, 1898. Carolyn was the daughter of Henry Kunkel and Paulina Koerner. Carolyn died September 7, 1978 in Salt Lake City, Utah, at 80 years of age. Her body was interred in Oak Lawn Mem., Corvallis, Benton Co, Oregon. !DIVORCED HIS FIRST WIFE AND REMARRIED HER ON 13 MAR 1911. THEN FINALLY DIVORCED HER AGAIN AND MARRIED CAROLYN KUNKEL.
