85. James Ervin⁴ Barton (Henry David³, Henry², ¹) (#236) was born in Hall Co. Ga. March 25, 1859. James died November 19, 1936 in Butte, Calif, at 77 years of age.

He married Lucy Rose Dunning in Benton, Nebo Co, Ark, December 16, 1888. (Lucy Rose Dunning is #311.) Lucy was born in Whiteside, Ill December 14, 1871. Lucy died November 22, 1928 in Butte, Calif, at 56 years of age.

James Ervin Barton and Lucy Rose Dunning had the following children:

269 i. John Franklin⁵ Barton (#321) was born in Benton, Nebo Co, Ark September 25, 1885.

271 iii. Sarah Catherine Barton (#320) (still alive).
