67. Charles Elexander⁴ Barton (John S.³, Henry², ¹) (#131) was born in Lumpkin Co, Ga April 28, 1851. Charles died July 28, 1935 in Follett, Lipscomb Co, Tx, at 84 years of age.

He married twice. He married Josey Williamson. (Josey Williamson is #1551.) !THEY HAD NO CHILDREN

He married Josephine Sarah Painter in Sullivan Co, Mo, April 8, 1876. (Josephine Sarah Painter is #238.) Josephine was born in Ark June 1859. Josephine was the daughter of William Alexander Painter and Rebecca Haley. Josephine died December 3, 1900 in Gatesville, Coryell Co, Tx, at 41 years of age.

Charles Elexander Barton and Josephine Sarah Painter had the following children:

+ 236 ii. Thomas Edward Barton was born June 27, 1880.

+ 237 iii. Robert Barton was born June 22, 1885.

+ 238 iv. Joseph Barton was born June 14, 1886.
