WAS CAPTURED AT BAKERS CREEK, MISS, PART OF THE BATTLE OF VICKSBURG, MAY 16, 1863, PAROLED AT FORT DELAWARE DEL. JUL 4, 1863. RECEIVED AT CITY POINT VA FOR EXCHANGE. HIS PENSION RECORD SHOWS THAT HE SURRENDERED AT KINGSTON GA. 17 MAY 1865. !1900 CENSUS LIVING FRANMIN GA. VOL 25, ED 29, SHEET 8, LINE 92.

Hyram T Barton and Margrett C. had the following children:

117 ii. Permelia Barton (#477) was born in Ga November 1872.

118 iii. Young T. Barton (#478) was born in Ga June 1874. He married Martha in Ga, 1905. ( Martha is #1497.) She was born in Ga 1876.

119 iv. George W. Barton (#479) was born in Ga May 1876.

120 v. Mary C. Barton (#480) was born in Ga January 1879.
