He married Delilah Boyd in Hall Co., Ga, February 25, 1829. (Delilah Boyd is #221.) Delilah was born in Ga 1812. !CENSUS 1850 RUSK CO TX.

James Barton and Delilah Boyd had the following children:

33 ii. Unk Barton (#663) was born in Ga 1836.

34 iii. James H. P. Barton (#661) was born in Ga 1838.

35 iv. Hopkins Barton (#662) was born in Ga 1847.
