4. Stephen² Barton (¹) (#119) was born in Sc 1804.

He married four times. He married Sarah Ann Thomason in Hall Co, Ga, April 27, 1828. (Sarah Ann Thomason is #217.) Sarah was born in Jackson Co, Ga March 8, 1814. Sarah was the daughter of John Thomason and Hannah Abercrombie. Sarah died January 1850 at 35 years of age. He married Molly Boyd in Murry Co, Ga, January 30, 1847. (Molly Boyd is #218.) He married Sarah R. Green in Murry Co, Ga, August 5, 1848. (Sarah R. Green is #219.) He married Martha Mrs. Barnes in Rush Co, Tx, April 8, 1852. + 29 vii. Young Henry Barton was born December 24, 1843.

+ 30 viii. Matthew R. Barton was born July 1, 1844.

31 ix. Matilda F. Barton (#655) was born in Miss January 1850.
