He married Hannah Abercrombie Thomason in Gainesville, Hall Co, Ga, September 6, 1820. (Hannah Abercrombie Thomason is #216.) Hannah was born in Jackson Co, Ga January 14, 1805. Hannah was the daughter of John Thomason and Hannah Abercrombie. Hannah died March 27, 1874 in Mobile, Ala, at 69 years of age. !CENSUS 1820 HALL CO, ABERCORONBIE DIST. 1840 MURRAY CO , 1850 RUSK CO TX.

David Barton and Hannah Abercrombie Thomason had the following child:
